It’s been just over 40 minutes since the news hit the web and I am still waiting for David Miliband to twitter a response to the news of Brittany Murphy’s death. In the meantime his future Prime Ministerial prospects must be rapidly slipping away.

Wind turns out to be impressive. It’s still a fair bit more expensive than what we pay here ($0.0735CDN/KWH* vs. $0.09USD/KWH), but that’s not that huge (solar is $0.43/KWH!)
Overall it’s stuff I didn’t know much about. Would have liked info on prices for nuclear and such, but not enough that I’m about to look them up elsewhere.

yesterday, walking self-absorbedly wondering if people notice I can’t walk properly, I didn’t notice the lady in front of me, careening from one side of the sidewalk to the other, one hand clutching a bag that seemed to be slipping, and another holding her tights up (though they didn’t look to be in danger of falling down).
I guess that’s a lesson to me.
